The kinds of information that we request are those that help identify you and your legal standing to participate in our Services. This can include your first name, last name, physical address, email address, and phone number. Particularly, but not exclusively, in the case of those who win significant prizes, you may be asked to provide additional personal information to a third-party identity verification service. Heavy Blade does not see or store that information. In many cases, use of our Service requires payment information to be provided to the site. That information is passed to our payment processor, and is not stored by Heavy Blade. Because we do not store your payment information, you will need to provide us with your payment information each time you want to make a payment.

Our ability to communicate with you is important. We’ll use the information you provide to send a variety of information. We may contact you about important events within our gameplay, such as notifying you when your turn is coming in a draft. With your permission, we may contact you to send our own marketing, offers, promotions, and product announcements. Typically, we will only contact you by phone to help resolve customer support questions.

Heavy Blade provides a variety of contest types. Broadly, these contests are classified as "public" or "private" leagues. Public leagues are generally played with strangers who join the league via our web site or mobile app. Private leagues are generally played with friends, family, and acquaintances, and are joined at the invitation of a known person. In public leagues, you will be identified to others in the league by your team name (eg, "The Crushers") and your first name and last initial (eg, "Tyler B"). In private leagues, communication between friends, family, and acquaintances, enhances the gameplay experience significantly. Therefore, in private leagues, we provide access to your team name, full name, and your email address in various screens and communications from Heavy Blade. You can customize several of our communication settings within the web site.
