Williams rushed 16 times for 76 yards and secured all three targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 27-9 wild-card win over the Vikings on Monday night.
Williams served as the ideal complement to the efforts of Matthew Stafford through the air and the Rams' stellar defensive performance, helping move the chains on the ground and opening the scoring with a five-yard touchdown catch to cap off the opening possession of the contest. Williams looked refreshed after getting Week 18 off, but he'll have his work cut out for him in Sunday's divisional-round road matchup against an elite Eagles run defense.
Nacua secured five of nine targets for 44 yards in the Rams' 27-9 wild-card win over the Vikings on Monday night.
Nacua finished tied with Tyler Higbee for the team lead in catches while also setting the pace in targets, but following a 27-yard catch on the first play from scrimmage, the talented wideout had a very quiet night. The Vikings clearly prioritized limiting his ability to get downfield, but it remains to be seen if the Eagles will be as successful in Sunday afternoon's divisional-round road showdown after Nacua got to them for a 9-117 line on 13 targets during a Week 12 loss.
Jefferson secured five of eight targets for 58 yards in the Vikings' 27-9 wild-card loss to the Rams on Monday.
Jefferson's ordinary stat line Monday underscores how effective the Rams defense was versus Minnesota's air attack while getting to Sam Darnold for a remarkable nine sacks. The constant pressure combined with the extra attention paid to Jefferson made it difficult for the supremely talented receiver to get loose downfield for his trademark long gains, and although he finished tied for the team lead in both targets and receptions, his yardage total left plenty to be desired. Jefferson displayed plenty of chemistry with Darnold while posting the third-highest reception and receiving yardage totals of his career during the regular season, finishing with 103 catches for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns over 17 games. The standout receiver, who will be entering the first season of his four-year, $140 million extension in 2025, may be operating with a new quarterback. Darnold is set to become a free agent, and the Vikings invested a 2024 first-round pick in J.J. McCarthy, who missed his entire rookie campaign with a knee injury but remains a promising prospect.
Jefferson was held to three receptions on nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 31-9 blowout loss to Detroit.
Jefferson had an uncharacteristically poor game which featured several drops (one of which hit him in the hands in the end zone) en route to his worst catch rate of the season (33 percent). The superstar still finished with a stellar 103-1,533-10 stat line this regular season as Sam Darnold's emergence in 2024 helped lift his No. 1 wideout back to numbers fantasy managers were accustomed to during the Kirk Cousins era in Minnesota. Jefferson and the Vikings will have to lick their collective wounds from this ugly loss ahead of next Monday's road playoff tilt against the Rams.
Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams.
As has been the norm for Brown since Week 16 prep, Brown endured some practice restrictions this week due to knee/rest, sitting out Wednesday before returning as a limited participant one day later. With a full session under his belt Friday, he again is good to go versus a Los Angeles defense that has allowed 7.97 YPT (13th in the NFL) and 20 receiving touchdowns (tied for fourth most) to opposing wide receivers in 18 contests between the regular season and playoffs.
Brown (knee/rest) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
As he predicted, Brown followed up Wednesday's absence from practice with a cap on his reps one day later as he continues to deal with a knee injury that has lingered since preparations for Week 16. He's played in three of four games in the meantime -- in the fourth, Week 18 against the Giants, most Eagles starters sat out -- and he's handled greater than a 90 percent snap share all three times. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Rams.
Brown (knee/rest) returned to practice Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Brown officially was a non-participant at Wednesday's session, after which he told Zangaro that he planned to mix into drills Thursday. While this has manifested itself, Brown's activity level won't be known until the Eagles post their second injury report of the week. Brown has been tending to a knee injury since Week 16 prep but otherwise has played through it, aside from sitting out Week 18 along with a number of starters.
